As of 2021, Hunting in the area is also excellent for deer, elk and antelope. Forest service access points are close by which provide access to the Quaker Mountain, Bears Ears and the Black Mountain Areas. Region & Climate The land is located approximately 25 miles from Hayden, Colorado and approximately 15 miles from Craig, Colorado. The land borders county road 29 which is a good year around maintained road. The land is in game management unit 4 which provides over the counter elk opportunities and landowner vouchers for both deer and antelope.
